TechÉd is annual microsoft event for IT professionals and developers. The two set of audience were let paralized over not giving away new information on Windows 8 @TechÉd this year.

Developers felt like a dumb child at this event this year as they launched the Win'8 from the ground. "Man wait, I know all of that. It has been for months"

Azure was on top of clouds.Microsoft is calling this "the era of the cloud OS.

Microsoft made a point to show that Azure is one of finest cloud product, by being easy to use and more useful when used with System Center 2012 tools (for onsite and in-cloud systems)

There were stuff like direct access, mobile broadband support and branch cache.

There was new user virtualization tool.  demonstration on Hyper-V 3.0 performance showed Windows Server 2012 delivering nearly 1 million IOPS with single virtual machine. This was simply great. (IOPS (Input/Output Operations Per Second, pronounced eye-ops) is a common performance measurement used to benchmark computer storage devices). you can imagine a host Windows Server 2012 with 256 GB Ram, 80 logical processors and 5 HBA(Host bus Adaptors)

They showed Win RT tablet with Office 2013 running on it. There were said to be other 3 office softwares other than excel. I am not even sure if it was a prototype of Excel 2013 or actual one. But, it is confirmed that Win RT will have Office( atleast Excel) 2013 with it. Also, Some one also posted microsoft roadmap on twitter, which is below:
